PAX (Latin for Peace) was the Roman goddess of Peace and was worshipped not only in Rome, but also Greece. This pendant is built using a coin which Jan reproduced using an original coin dated 193-211 A.D. The coin depicts PAX holding an olive branch and scepter. Interesting to note that PAX's alter was not allowed to be stained with blood, which was not the norm for the era. The reverse image of the coin depicts the Roman Emperor, Septimius Serverus of the same time period.
